Job completed for Water Mitigation Emergency Response Setup
Completion date: December 22, 2025
Location: Johnsonville, SC
Why did the customer contact us?
We recently responded to a call from a homeowner facing a sudden pipe leak under a bathroom sink. While a sink leak may seem contained, water quickly migrates into the subflooring and adjacent wall cavities, where it can cause structural rot and mold growth within 24 to 48 hours.
Upon arrival, our IICRC-certified team immediately deployed specialized moisture detection tools to map the full migration of the water. To stabilize the environment and protect the home’s integrity, we utilized a strategic combination of industrial-grade mitigation equipment:
- LGR Dehumidifiers: These high-capacity machines are essential for pulling deeply embedded moisture out of the air and structural materials, preventing the "secondary damage" caused by high humidity.
- High-Velocity Air Movers: We positioned these to create optimal airflow across wet surfaces, accelerating the evaporation process.
- HEPA Scrubbers: To ensure the indoor air quality remained safe for the family during the drying process, we utilized filtration to capture any airborne particulates.
By acting fast and using a scientific approach to drying, we were able to save the existing cabinetry and flooring, sparing the customer the high cost and headache of a full reconstruction.
Why This Matters for Your Recovery
- Hidden Moisture: Without a dehumidifier, moisture remains trapped in the air, eventually settling into your drywall and furniture.
- Scientific Drying: We don’t just "dry the floor"; we manage the entire environment to ensure your home is truly safe.
- Cost Savings: Proper mitigation now prevents expensive mold remediation later.
