Thanks for taking the time to view my company’s website.
If you are looking for a local Columbia company that specializes in water damage cleanup and restoration. Who uses the latest, most advanced restoration protocol and newest technology available in our industry. A family-owned, fully licensed, certified, and insured water damage restoration and remediation company that’s BBB A+ accredited, A rating with Angie’s List, and over 100 five-star reviews on Google, then we’d love to get you scheduled for an estimate.
When you hire us, you deal with a dedicated team of professionals. We’re an Angi Super Service Award Winner 2 years in a row and we specialize in keeping your family safe by focusing on water damage cleanup, water restoration repair, and mold remediation. We aren’t plumbers, carpet, or duct cleaners that do water damage restoration and mold removal on the side.
Would you like to know what separates us from the competition?
- Customer-focused, we work for you, not the insurance company. We’re not on any insurance preferred vendor lists, we’re growing our business by offering quality over quantity.
- Verified state licensing, certified and insured- South Carolina doesn’t require workmen’s comp for small businesses. This leaves you or your insurance on the hook if a contractor gets hurt on your property. Even though SC doesn’t require it, for your protection we carry workmen’s comp insurance among many others. Also, be aware that General liability doesn’t cover mold. When receiving estimates on your project we recommend asking for proof of pollution (mold) liability, general liability, and workmen’s comp. Generally, if our estimate is higher either the other company missed something or they’re not fully insured.
- Estimates. We use the same estimating software as the insurance companies- All pricing has been pre-determined before your estimate was even entered. We enter the square footage of what needs to be done and the software develops the price. This reduces most of the need to negotiate with insurance companies.
- Honest- We don’t use scare tactics to win jobs. We’ll be one of the few companies that tell you mold testing isn’t foolproof. We’d also like everyone to know that dead or inactive mold can cause the same health effects as alive. It isn’t like asbestos where if you don’t disturb it’s safe to leave in place. The goal of remediation is to remove the mold not kill it.
Most of the time mold testing is unnecessary, the CDC and other governmental agencies do not recommend mold testing. They recommend having mold removed as soon as you see it so don’t let a shady contractor trick you into services you don’t need.
A word of caution, neither the federal government nor the state of South Carolina regulates mold. Any company can obtain a mold certification online and then call themselves experts the same day. Be cautious and ask questions. Ultimately you’ll have to decide if the contractor is qualified to take on your project.
